With the release of Presentation Server 4.5, Citrix have realigned the product editions, dropping Standard Edition while adding a new high end edition call Bling.., oops I mean Platinum Edition. But as James pointed out to me yesterday, the Presentation Server installation media still includes the ability to install Standard Edition:
Looks like someone in marketing decided on the edition changes and forgot to tell someone in engineering. Hopefully some poor soul is not going to install Standard Edition and then find out they’ve got no way to license it.Â

Yeah, that’s right and there is a comparison table that compares the fuctionality between various editions. Platinum edition is seem to be made expandable to suite varios needs in a huge organizations.
