Funny, I am running Vista Home Premium and have installed CutePDF with no problems and did not disable UAC…

I print to it routinely without issues.

CutePDF works on Windows Vista x86 and it works well, just like it says on the tin. This error only appears on Windows Vista x64. It is very disappointing to see the installer recommend turning off UAC to just install the product.

I am running (and typing from) a Vista x64 laptop and installed CutePDF just fine.

We were able to get it going without a problem on Vista x64 without having to disable UAC. You do need the process elevated though for it to work. They didn’t bundle the proper manifest with the executable which is bad. But then again Microsoft is guilty of this too.
