The Service Pack 2 Administration Tools pack has been released as a stand alone package. I’m fairly certain this is new – I don’t recall seeing this download before and the knowledgebase article was updated just yesterday.

Anyone have any luck getting this to run on Vista 64-bit?

I’ve been having some issues with my mmc not recognizing the new snap-ins, and I’m wondering whether its worth the effort to troubleshoot….

Hi Bob, I’ve not attempted it myself, but if rumors are correct, Windows Server 2008 should drop any day now, which should mean that the remote administrations tools for Vista will be along not long after.

True true, I should be able to hold out till then. Though some of my problems may be addressed by this:

I had used this before I rebuilt my workstation and went on to forget all about it.

Thanks
